The Farm Cove Project is a collaboration between Love Kitchens and Alluminex, combining our expertise in outdoor kitchens and entertaining spaces with Alluminex’s expertise in architectural louvre roof systems to create a completely integrated, year-round poolside living space.
Our clients wanted something that went well beyond an outdoor kitchen. Sitting alongside their pool, the brief was to create a true outdoor room connecting cooking, entertaining and relaxing in one space.
Six floor-to-ceiling stackable glass doors open the room completely to the pool, while the Alluminex louvre roof provides year-round flexibility. Horizontal silicone timber detailing with a black negative adds warmth and contrast.
At the heart is an ESCEA 1250 fireplace, with sweeping curved corners flowing into a handmade wraparound couch. The curves introduce a subtle nautical theme that often finds its way into our designs. Beneath the seating is concealed firewood storage with wash-down LED lighting.
The 4m Love Kitchens outdoor kitchen incorporates an Artusi 800 BBQ, integrated DishDrawer, glass-door bar fridge, sink and tap, while a 65-inch TV is pressed flush into the wall to maintain the clean architectural lines.
The Farm Cove Project – poolside living, designed for every season.
