Inside out at South Head
Perched above the Kaipara Harbour, this project brought the indoor and outdoor kitchens together as one connected space, with a scullery and laundry to match.
Outside, a curved timber bar leaner with a built-in keg fridge wraps the end of the run and looks straight out over the harbour. The cooking line pairs a Primo ceramic kamado with a built-in Weber Q3600 and an under-bench drinks fridge, all set into crisp white cabinetry. Overhead, Aluminex louvres, drop-down blinds and heaters mean it works in every season, for summer evenings and winter dinners alike.
Inside, we carried the same palette through: white cabinetry, soft oak tones and clean lines. The two kitchens read as one design either side of the slider.
